$750,000 Federal Stimulus Grant OK’d for Stratford Greenway Bicycle-Pedestrian Trail

A $750,000 federal stimulus grant that will help fund a 1.2 mile Housatonic River Greenway Bicycle-Pedestrian Trail has been approved for Stratford, state Representatives John A. Harkins and Lawrence G. Miller said Monday, March 23rd.

Stratford Vets would Get More Time to Claim Refunds for Taxes Collected in Error under Harkins Bill

Stratford veterans would have more time to claim refunds for excessive taxes collected in error by the tax collector under a bill co-sponsored by state Representative John A. Harkins that was approved Thursday, March 5th by the state legislature’s Select Committee on Veterans Affairs.
